Definitions

We've written these terms in plain language. Wherever these words appear, this is what they mean:

• ZERAX, we or us: ZERAX Academy, a Saudi business registered under the commercial registration number shown at the foot of this page.
• The platform: the ZERAX website, its apps and everything offered through them.
• You or the learner: anyone who creates an account or uses the platform.
• Course: a self-paced course made up of video lessons, activities and a certificate of completion.
• Organization: a company or body that buys course seats for its employees.

By using the platform you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Use your real name, as you want it to appear on your certificate, and keep your details accurate and up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens through your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect someone else has accessed it.
• You can close your account at any time from its settings.

Purchases and prices

Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and include 15% VAT. After every purchase, a tax invoice is sent to your email.

You pay through a licensed payment gateway that accepts mada, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. We never see or store your full card number.

We may change prices or offer discounts from time to time. This never affects a course you've already bought.

Access to your course

• When you buy a course, you get lifetime access to it, including any updates we add later.
• Access is personal to you. It can't be transferred, resold or shared.
• You learn at your own pace, with no fixed schedule.

Company seats

An organization buys seats and assigns them to its employees. Each employee gets their own account and a certificate in their own name.

• Each seat is for one person. An organization may reassign a seat whose holder hasn't started the course.
• The organization sees its employees' progress and completion only, never their activity answers.
• Where an organization has a written contract with ZERAX, that contract prevails over anything on this page that conflicts with it.

Acceptable use

We ask for what protects you and everyone else:

• Don't share your account or let anyone else sign in with it.
• Don't copy, record, download or republish lessons by any means.
• Don't try to bypass the platform's protections or scrape its content.
• Answer activities yourself, and don't impersonate anyone.

If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend it or revoke a certificate issued to it, after telling you why.

Intellectual property

All course content, including text, video, graphics and activities, is owned by ZERAX or its trainers or licensed to us, and is protected by the Kingdom's intellectual property laws. Buying a course gives you a personal licence to learn from it, not ownership of the content.

What you write in activities stays yours, and you allow us to use it to assess your work and give you feedback.

Virtual presenters

Lessons are delivered by AI-generated virtual presenters, and we say so clearly on every course page. The content itself is prepared, reviewed and supervised by experts, and we stand behind its accuracy.

A virtual presenter isn't a real person and doesn't represent the views of any particular individual.

Certificates

• Your certificate is issued in your name once you complete the course's lessons and activities.
• Each certificate has a unique number and a public verification link showing your name, the course and the issue date. Anyone can check it on the verification page.
• We may revoke a certificate obtained in breach of these terms; it then shows as "Revoked" on the verification page.

Availability and course changes

We work to keep the platform available at all times, but it may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

We update courses to keep them accurate, and may reorder or replace some lessons. If we ever have to withdraw a course you've bought, we'll give you reasonable notice and offer you an equivalent course or a refund.

Limits of liability

Our courses are educational. They aren't professional, legal or financial advice for your particular situation, and decisions you make based on them are your own.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Kingdom's consumer protection laws.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is significant, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If a dispute arises, we'll first try to settle it amicably; if that isn't possible, the competent courts in Riyadh have jurisdiction.
