The summary in two numbers

  • 50 or more workers The establishment size that makes disclosing training data via the Qiwa platform mandatory, according to the Ministry's announcement.
  • SAR 5,000 The non-disclosure penalty for an establishment with 50 to 499 workers, rising to SAR 10,000 for a repeat.

Who is required to disclose?

If your establishment employs 50 or more workers, the Labor Law requires you to train a percentage of Saudi workers, set by Article 43 at no less than 12%. The difficulty does not lie in the desire to train employees, but in balancing the required hours with daily work pressure, while avoiding fines.
